I love winter.
Since I have four cats, winter is definitely my favorite season of the year. The other night, I woke up in the middle of the night and found three of my cats sleeping around me. At that moment, I was literally on cloud nine.
Based on my observation, cats seem to get even cuter in winter.
Because of my job and personality, I may seem like an extrovert, but deep down, I’m actually an introvert. Staying home makes me feel calm and relieved.
In Japan, many homes have a kotatsu, a traditional heated table with a heater underneath. Traditionally, families gather around the kotatsu during winter to keep warm.
My cats love the kotatsu, and I often find myself surrounded by them as we bask in its warmth.
I mentioned that I love winter, but that doesn’t mean I’m into winter sports. Haha. I tried skiing for my daughter’s sake, but it’s just not for me.
Playing video games, reading, and studying suit me much better.
